If you would like to seek support through CPS, please call or email the office on 0412 856 988 or admin@canberrapsychologyservices.com.au.
New clients can self-refer or obtain a referral from their GP. CPS also offers psychological services for Self-Managed and Plan-Managed National Disability Insurance Scheme funded participants.
FEES
Fees for each clinician are listed below. Please note, there are different fees for assessments. Contact CPS reception if you would like further information on assessment costs.
Dr Ellen McKenzie
A standard individual session fee is $300 per 55 minute session to be paid at the time of the appointment. The remaining time of the 1 hour session is used by the clinician to plan your treatment and complete the clinical documentation of your attendance. Additional services such as assessment and writing of support documentation (letters, reports) are charged, however, the costs will always be discussed with you prior.
A client with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. To obtain a GP MHCP, a client should book a long consultation with a GP and request that the care plan be completed. The MHCP may entitle a client to a Medicare rebate of $137.05 per session for a total of 10 sessions per calendar year (1st Jan - 31st Dec). Please bring a copy of your MHCP (if applicable) to your appointment so that we are able to process the rebate at the time of payment.

Boushra Awad

Please note, Boushra is not registered with Medicare and therfore clients will not be eligible for a rebate.

Cancellation policy
All clinicians require cancellation of an appointment 48 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment attract a penalty of 50% of the full cost of the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment attract a penalty of 100% of the full cost of the appointment.
