Dr Ellen McKenzie
Ellen has worked as a mental health professional for a number of years in a variety of settings including NGO and community-based organisations. Ellen has worked primarily with people (all ages) who have experienced trauma.
Areas of interest are mild to moderate mental health presentations, the delivery of IFS and DBR therapy, and working with people who have experienced trauma for brief, targeted interventions.

Dr Gilbert Mak
Dr Gilbert Mak is a Registered Psychologist with a unique background in Anthropology, which enriches his clinical practice in providing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care. He has extensive experience in working with diverse clients across lifespan (16–70+), including refugees and asylum seekers, marginalised groups, LGBTQIA+ queer community, neurodiverse individuals, and those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. Gilbert is also experienced in supporting caregivers and patients managing chronic illnesses such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and diabetes.
Gilbert believes in each individual’s potential to lead a fulfilling life. He employs a strengths-based approach to therapy, rooted in Positive Psychology, to empower clients in overcoming life adversities and accomplish goals. He emphasises creating affirming spaces for exploring identities and leveraging clients’ strength to foster resilience and personal growth.
He is committed to ongoing professional development to continually enhance his clinical practice and skills, ensuring that he provides effective and evidence-based care for his clients.

Myndie Bungbrakearti
Myndie is a clinical psychologist who graduated from her Master of Clinical Psychology degree in 2017. She has worked with a variety of age ranges (from perinatal to older adults), mental health conditions and uses evidence-based therapies in her practice. Myndie is passionate about what she does, which is reflected in her continuous professional development, supervision and encouragement of feedback to improve and provide the best service possible.

Jessica Minchin
Jessica has extensive postgraduate training and experience in the field of mental health and family violence and has worked as a mental health professional for over 10 years with people across the lifespan in a variety of settings. This includes forensic mental health, child and adolescent mental health, specialist youth outreach mental health “early psychosis”, women’s health and private practice.
Jessica specialises in working with adolescents and young adults (14 years to 25 years) experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, psychosis, school/work related problems, general distress and difficulty coping.
In working with her clients, Jessica uses a strengths base relational model to help clients recognise and utilise their innate strengths. She works in a warm, friendly and relatable manner.

Taylah Loader
Taylah is a generally registered psychologist who has experience working with people across the lifespan, from children to older people. She provides evidence-based treatment for a range of mental health conditions, with a particular interest in anxiety disorders, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, and neurodivergence.
Taylah is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Stephanie Bayley-Nelson
Steph is a provisional psychologist who is currently in the final semester of her Master's program at the Australian National University.
Over the past 18 months, Steph has worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), focusing on mental health assessments and therapy for people under 18. Prior to this, she worked in primary teaching and the ACT Public Service.
Steph is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, and adopts a person-centred approach in her practice. She particularly enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and panic disorders.

Michelle Driscoll
Michelle has worked as an Allied Health Professional for over twenty years, predominately as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist.
She specialises in working with trauma related conditions including anxiety and chronic pain.
Through her work she empowers people to resolve their trauma, become more embodied, and have a greater sense of aliveness and wellbeing.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can complement Psychology by addressing physical manifestations of emotional and psychological issues, promoting nervous system regulation, and enhancing self-awareness. This integrative approach can support clients in achieving deeper levels of healing and personal transformation.

Amy has worked as a mental health professional for a number of years, in a variety of settings. Amy has extensive experience, working with clients from a range of diverse backgrounds. Amy has worked primarily with adults experiencing mental illness, personality vulnerabilities, addiction, family violence, and trauma-related mental health issues. Amy has also worked with children and adolescents experiencing behavioural challenges, learning difficulties and mental health issues.
She is passionate about working with people of all ages experiencing a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, behavioural change and addiction, family-related conflict, trauma, sleep and interpersonal problems.

Maddie Loader
Administrative Assistant
Maddie supports CPS clients with administration and keeps the office running smoothly. She has previous experience in psychology administration. Maddie's approach is one of sensitivity and warmness, assiting clients both face-to-face and over the phone. She works closely with CPS clinicians to ensure that clients are comfortable and well-assisted, and is always available for a chat or to help with any queries they may have.
Maddie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently completing post graduate studies with the goal of becoming a Clinically Registered Psychologist. She has a keen interest in complex trauma and developmental psychology.
You will find Maddie at the front desk on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
